Yeah, I was just thinking in general functional bling terms, but I know they've done a bit of work to their Gen 3's :)

I'm not worried about extra power so I went with a set of M4 slipons for some extra noise without being anything too big hanging off the sides as they tuck in nicely...to be honest I don't mind the stockers too much but my boot heel hits them so a bit of extra room will be nice. I've seen one with the full Akra though and it's a sweet system.

I've got a Sargent seat coming as well, the stock seat is an odd shape with cutouts and soft foam in funny spots, so my arse doesn't like it. I definitely wanted that sorted before the CDT (the seat, not my arse).

Ventura rack is a given, so that's been ordered, as have some swingarm spools and a fender eliminator to get rid of the big chunk of plastic. I'll grab some nice led's to go with it when it turns up.

I braved the heat in the garage yesterday and set the front and rear sag. The front didn't need changing but the rear was 50mm. Getting it to a road friendly 30mm meant I used up most of the preload adjustment so I'll probably need a stiffer spring in there but I'll see how this goes for now.....an Ohlins would be nice though because I'd like this to be as sweet a handling bike as much as I can manage ;)

The only other thing is I've chucked on a clear tank protector and I've pulled off the extra massive bit of plastic on the rear mudguard, which meant I had two nice bolts that matched the others on the front guard and could take off the big ugly reflectors.

I'm considering getting the FCE too just to improve the throttle response a bit and I'll get onto Hoffy about the bar ends if he's got a set sitting around :)

....so yeah, it's not staying stock for long, they're great bikes but also a great platform for modifications 8)

Sounds great mate, and a delivery of Jason 7019's finest just happened to arrive from the US of A ;) The bigger screen also works a treat and looks good too.

The progress so far

and since that photo was taken I've added this

and still to go on are the bar end mirrors, double-bubble screen for the CDT and the Sargent seat (whenever it will actually turn up). I've also fitted the Ventura rack but have just left the bracket in place and taken off the arms.

I'm also loving this bike, it's great to ride and the position really suits me 8-)
