No, thats fine, thanks for bringing it up, you may have not needed anything, but at least we know that some bikes do. (better looking into this than watching that stupid football game

)
We didn't know Blurrs 08 zx10r needed the QEM or Ign module to get his to work.. Explains a few things now, we thought it was a dud.
Its a bugger Wattie broke it as would work on his bike (07 zx10r)
probly Blurs now too.
Gos, yes you need one... even its just to see if an ignition module is needed..

Not really adding anything here but just wanted to be in the cool thread anyway yes the 08 zx10+ have 8 injectors, Primary's are in the normal spots, Secondarys are in the top of the airbox pointing straight down the Throttle bodies. As far as i know PC3 or PCIII or PC USB don't control the secondarys i'm not sure if even a PC5 controls them ? They only add additional fuel, not like a Aprillia RSV4 Factory for e.g. which uses one set for below a certain rev range and the other for higher revs.
As per pic injector can be seen top right.

The PCV doesnt control the secondary injectors, only the primaries.. You need to buy a SFM(secondary fuel module add on) to have any adjustment of those

OK I sent Power Commander an e-mail and got the following response.
For the zx12r
The ZX12 only has 4 injectors; and therefore the Power Commander can run a Quickshifter by itself. No QEM or Ignition module necessary.
For the 08 + zx10r (or 09 + zx6r - anything with 8 injectors) to run a quickshifter.
Running a PC3 you need the ignition module, the QEM is not compatable with the PC3
Running a PC5 you need to use either the QEM or Ignition module.
04 to 07 zx10rs, 03 to 08 zx6rs, zx12rs, z1000's etc using a PC3 its just a plug and play set up nothing else required...

Yay for only having 4 injectors! When i can actually utilise the power, it wont be as expesive to get one of these quickshifters!
