Brian did you not see my post on the last page????? :? .....Put your hand up to go on the next ginger's run you'll have your liscence back by then ;) ....
Yes i did Dave but im not refering to the Gingers run, fair enough we all get together then, im talking in general, hardly any get togethers other than the big rides we have during the course of the year, im talking about get togethers like when we went to the Flyers Pub, shit like that, not just the regular sunday runs and Putty runs and stuff like that...

Ill definantly be going to gingers close to the end of the year but what about in between?? how will i catch up with all the regulars i know? wait till the gingers run or xmas trackie?? it cant be this way...

and I hardly talk to ANYONE from KSRC on facebook other than richo, andy, wany, poss, seiko and jonno...

And yes Glen i do like going for rides with 50 or more bikes because then i get to talk to new people and have a good time... I marshall at EC and hardly see anyone from KSRC there... only saw Disco there....

cranky old carhn kinda suits u    :P :kuda:

But u know im not here to put shit on anyone or be a prick, im just saying this place isnt what it used to be when i joined a couple years ago and id like to see it back the way it was!! ;)

In the decade past, well before facebook was even an itch, Qld had 30 on ride days, same with other states having more turn up, for many reasons some move on, some have kids, buy houses, a few more famously have cracked the shites and left god bless them

But seriously how many are still here that are regularly involved that joined prior to 2006?? or 2004?
and how many of the originals from yahoo groups are still here (dinosaurs).
Many of these faded away before facebook etc...Some still lurk 8)

What I am getting at is this forum like many others, people for whatever reason move on and some stay, it needs new blood and new ideas to evolve, so those who have been around a bit since joining in the last few years it is your turn to step up and make something happen and carry the torch.
Put a bit of your brand of you into it ;)

Sure facebook has taken a lot away from here as it does but that will get same-old soon enough (has for me), but like I said above; evolve, re-invent and overcome. :kuda:

As soon as I work out how to kill myself from Facebook I'm out of there. Getting old is shit......you just get cranky all the time.......cahns.

I'm actually sick of ol cahns like you who can't cope with change , wanna sit up and beg on their bike ..." cos Im old  " There is a bigger problem in KSRC... the bigotry from NSW cahns who think they are too good for the rest of the country and the only reason they let Victorians post is coz we have Phillip Island . SA crowd is only allowed to post so KSRC is seen to Politically Correct and accepts Gays . (There is something about DaveMadKaw wearing frilly knickers but Stace will need to confirm that) The rest of Australia doesn't rate basically , as far as NSW is concerned .
Geez even Russ has been ostracized for moving out of the Sydney rat race .
Face book is friendly , they won't let you tell anyone to "fuck off" thats just plain rude !

Glen ! You need a prostrate examination .

Yeh, I agree,
Glen is a cranky ole carn....

oh, and FB is shite. I'm on it but rarely read or post to it.. I forget about it most of the time.
I've been told its a generational thing... I think its just that its easier to acces on phones and thats what most ppl have on them all the time (lucky we're spending billions on the this NBN aye..). Hopefully tapatalk or Safari or some of these othere apps will help KSRC get more activity.

Unfortunately my circumstances have stopped me from riding so I haven't been overly involved with stuff on KSRC lately, but for those who think its quiet here and there's not many rides or events, organise something.!!
Post up, get the place more active, we care what your having for dinner too... (actually we don't, but if something interesting is happening to ya, let us know - bike related or not)
Stop complaining and do something about it...!!!
