I've heard of someone getting a bee in the visor and caught head first between their head and the liner. Fortunately the bee's bum was pointing towards the liner and not their head.
It's also quite possible it wasn't a bee but a wasp or something similar. Say it hits you at 70, it's quite possible that the stinger goes in, rest of bug keeps on going.
