In have to chime in here too. There is no NEW bike at any price that I would rather own than my ZRX. I don't mean that there aren't any better bikes around coz there is, but there aren't any bikes that float my boat like the ZRX does. She is a keeper. (Uhm he is a keeper- his name is Eddie)

I wonder how much better it would be with an Ohlins front too.

Pity so hard to sort ohlins bits into late ZRX forks.

mate you don't have to have Ohlins and a Kerker to have fun on a Rex. The bloke I pillioned GOR 300k's on Sunday just could not believe that mine was stock. He literally asked me three times in three different ways to make sure I hadn't modified it any way. He couldn't believe how it turned and hauled off the turns. Well we went to Nabiac on the weekend, & my ZRX performed faultlessly. Just ate the Ks up, & I loved every one of them. The handling isnt the greatest, I mean compaired to a sportsbike, the chasiss is a bit flexie, & the weight gets them working a bit hard when pushed. But saying that, they will give some sprotsbike riders a shock when you come up on them & pass them. [But Im sure that more to do with the rider than the bike] As a weekend scrapper they are great, as a tourer they are great, as a racebike, they come up short. But hey I didnt buy mine to race. I bought it to enjoy, & I do plenty of that!!
