Yeh I can see how it would sadden those who frequent the place for services and that, especially those of you who live closer to there. But for me it's a lot easier to go to Kelens, and so far I've had nothing but great service from them. The first service was cheaper at Kelens than Aitkens quoted me for too.

So for me, it doesn't affect me. Might feel differently about it when I'm buying my new bike as I think Aitkens were a bit cheaper than Kelens on brand newies. But that's a while off anyway.

What's he going to start riding cheap ass suzukis or something? Good luck to them, hope everything works out well.

competition for kelens would be more "westerns" and "on 2 wheels".

Westerns didnt know what a Z1000 was when i needed a tyre change once. and o 2 wheels is a yamaha dealer.

but service wise on 2 wheels could be competitive. but yeah westerns isnt renouned for there knowledge.

I guess the KSRC green shirts with Aitkens logo are a collectors item now!

Luckily Blurr got his gearbox back eventually or who knows where it may have ended up :lol:
