Re: Yoshimura TRC Carbon Slipon
Lol sounds like a ride on lawn mower...
Seriously....Save the Dollars towards the new bike.
But if you've got the cash to splash why not? If you like the Looks & sound that's all that matters.
If it was me, I'd be Saving the cash, and the only thing I would be "Spending", is my time ridinging the damn thing!!
Anyhow your Decision!!

Re: Yoshimura TRC Carbon Slipon
Already got it, best purchase I've made for the bike. Looks & sounds heaps better. Cars hear me now and I'm having less problems with them cutting me off or merging on to me.
I'm heaps happy with the purchase.

You're entitled to your opinion, champ.
Do or don't do to your bike what you like.
I like what I've done to mine, and good on you for being happy with doing nothing to yours.
Next time I'm heading up to Newcastle I'll shoot you a PM. Will be good to get the two green ones side by side.

I don't know.
Lots of people like to think they're champs.

A lot of different things.
It's open to individual interpretation.
You've never used the term before?

Re: Yoshimura TRC Carbon Slipon
I don't know. When I was boxing my trainer called all of us champ. I guess it was a way of psyching us up or making us feel great or something. He was an older fella but and I know a lot of older blokes that call younger people champ.
I have a few mates my age that call a lot of people champ. Yeh, I guess sometimes to belittle people and sometimes as a genuine way to call a mate champ. On site, a lot of people call other workers champ. It's not uncommon to me to use the term champ, or hear it being used.
If I want to talk down to someone, I probably wouldn't try doing it on an internet forum, especially people I haven't met or known long enough to accurately know what I think of them. I'd sooner wait till I met them, known them long enough to decide whether they're someone I don't want to know, and tell them to their face what I think.
I guess communication on internet forums can easily be misinterpreted.

Certainly a good way to keep the thread going though!
