Others just go next door and buy what the neighbors are selling.
All in all, ya all rock.

I got a train from Canberra to Sydney, then flew to Maroochydore to pick up the ZXR. Took a week and 1900km to get it home via the coast to Port Mac then up to Mudgee to see dad and then back to Canberra :kuda:.

Surprisingly......the longest distance is a piddly trip from Sidderney to Anarchy Road - to grab a Z750 twin that Billy arranged for me !!

All the rest have been local down here ( I think......hang on), I did get a couple of RD's from Sydney as well a few years ago...

Closest - delivered to the front door. A 1974 Z1A. Complete. Required 1 x exhaust valve guide. Basically original & unmolested. $350.

Thats a new definition for "Hard To Beat" !! :kuda:

I drove from Sydney to Coonabarabran and back in 1 day, that's 700kms, picked up a Yamahahaaa FZR400

All up about 12 hours there and back, including loading the bike and haggling the sale !! :D

Furtherest i've gone (for my first and only bike) was my own driveway. The seller was happy to ride it to my house for the exchange.
