quickest around corners. ;) plus it is amazing how unacurate those speedo's are at those speeds so dont be so sure that you are traveling at 300km

At least 5%, so you were probably only doing around 285....which is still pretty good as a real number :kuda:

I guarrenttee it is more than 5% at 300kms. Try more like 15-20% out

mine was 8% out on tex's dyno.

and i think about 9-10% out with the 1 up on the rear and the M3 rear, its diameter is a bit smaller than the rennies that were in it on the dyno.

My correction with the -1 front is around 10%, so I thought I'd be a bit generous ;)

when do you think we are going to test this theory out, I aint doin 300km/hr on some but fark bump road out woop woop... and I sure as hell don't think I have the skills to wind it out to 300 on the straight at PI either.

enjoying the banter cheers

I have a speedo healer fitted and checked with a dyno so it 100% acurate,

Wattie and I did a bit of a top speed run on our 10r's in Wattie land about 2 months ago on the way down to mel's before the PI trip. I sat behind him keeping the same distance(about 300m )as we both started to wind them out. When we eventually stopped to get petrol at Goulburn I asked what was the last speed he saw on that stretched, he quickly stated 285kms. I hit the top speed recall button on mine and it said 239kms  . Thats a fair bit out but no more than normal I would dare say. The digital speedos become progressively more unacurate as the speed cimbs.

Until proven otherwise its 300 kmphs.... Telling people I did 285 roughly give and take just doesnt sound as cool as "there I was... doing 300kmph, stubby in one hand, ciggy in the other..."

Say 330, the speedo doesn't go past 299 but after a few beers you could swear it was still pulling to redline hard ;)
