Re: My letter in Two Wheels....
Hey BM
No good to hear you have had a bad year
But from here it can only get better
A couple of years ago I had a bad year, I had been thinking about removing myself from the world but I got help and got back into motorcycle riding after a 5 year hiatus (maybe thats where it all went downhill, when I sold my bike?), came good and now have a much more positive outlook on life.
went to get fuel tonight before heading out for a ride tomorrow, and as I was cruising home I thought "Life cant get any better than this!".
Hang in there Wendy, I love reading your Joke thread, it always gives me a laugh
And getting back to this thread, well done on the publication of your letter, I'll have to go buy the mag now to have a read

Thanks for the kind thoughts ZX6.
Anne, I only just got home now (9pm) so I missed meeting up at the pub. Do you go there every Friday night?

Life in general is hard and it's not ment to be easy or I would have 3 bikes that are not crashed
But you just have to look on the bright side like Devo said that there are people around the world worst off. People can't even put food on the table, my parents always tell me stories about back in Vietnam and it breaks my heart....

Re: My letter in Two Wheels....
BM, I havnt read the article but i'm sure it would have been somewhat of a relief to know that people who read the article can understand or atleast read and know about how you have been feeling/what's been going on in your life.
I too have been through more then my fair share of shit things and i'm only 19. And i bet my this stage everyone is thinking "she's only 19, she couldnt have possibly been through anything major" but i would suprise you believe me on that one.
Things will never be perfect and i'm not the type to share what's going on in my head, but the rare times that i do share i feel much better for it, which is why i decided to right an autobiography, lame i know but it puts alot of things in perspective. My parents and those close to me know little to nothing about what's going on so it's mainly for them to know what i've been through. Even if i don't end up letting anyone read it, i feel alot better knowing that if something was to ever happen (delibrate or not) my thoughts and feelings on everything and everyone wouldnt go down with me.
There is always a light

Re: My letter in Two Wheels....
Hey Shez.
Writing things down always helps, I have always found that throughout my life, even if no-one ever reads it.
The reaction to my letter has been funny. Yes, I have had some crappy stuff happen lately, but that wasn't what it was about, nor why I posted about it on here.(The letter was edited very heavily.)
My letter to Two Wheels really was about how situations in life and circumstances can gradually drag you away from the things you love. You often lose perspective gradually, and don't even realise it's happening. I guess we sometimes prioritise to our own detriment- putting other people, and making a living, before ourselves. One day you realise that you aren't 'you' anymore.
What it was all meant to say was 'life is short, live it to the full- you never know when it is your last day.'
My desktop pictures says it all........

Re: My letter in Two Wheels....
for me it's hard to explain what i'm trying to say without actually saying what i don't want to say, so i'll leave it at that. But i do know what you meant, as i said it was my attempted 2cents worth without saying what i was talking about.

Re: My letter in Two Wheels....
I think I understood exactly what you were saying Shez, and i thank you for your contribution and support.
This forum has been so supportive to so many of it's members in difficult times. I have had really low times on here when I have felt like I couldn't deal with stuff and have had so many messages and PM's of support. As the old saying goes- 'a problem shared is a problem halved.'
