I'm 6ft, 80kg, spinal fusion in 2007 - the GPz1100 is way more comfortable than driving a car. 600kms and 7 hours was easy a couple of weeks ago (but the Yorke Peninsula was sooooo boring!). My wife is 5'7", and the CBR600F is more comfortable for her than the ZZR600. Everyone is a different shape, so try lots of bikes, and work on the abs like they all said - my legs, bum and knees have to bear the weight, and if I try to hold it on my arms, my back is rooted.

Do more twisties!!!!
The side to side shifting will relieve any stiffness you may be heading towards and stretches at the same time
