I too have an XR1000 in gloss black with a tinted black visor! I love it. I must say tho, i have had it for over 2 years now so its time to get a newy, i have had 2 skids in it. Nothing major to the helmet. Hit the deck the first time and just slightly grazed it, and second did the same!

I will be upgrading very soon!

But i must say after this much time, helmet is still holding up well, sitll looks goods, its been in every element, rain, hail, sun, snow! I often clean it. I have a breathe guard also and can't stress how good they are!

If htey fit i would grab one. They are a very nice bit of kit and i am getting another one! thats how much i like them!

Thanks. I did end-up getting an XR. Very happy with it. Just got a dark smoke visor from the states for it, too. :D

I bought a relatively cheap AGV Stealth and couldn't be happier. Under $400 I think.

Whilst this topic is back ... loved the fit and feel of the shoei, but couldn't get a TZ-R (range was pretty limited here in canberra :\). as I couldn't aford the XR I ended up going with the shark RSI which also fit pretty well/
Probably get a Shoei next time :)

Spent some quality time yesterday looking at lids, of course for my head it's Shoei and Arai that fit most comfortably and it was $679 for the TZ-R from this motorbike accessories joint, H Warehouse is heaps cheaper so I reckon it's gonna be an online purchase jobbie.
