Re: Weekend away
The weather was good enough, I don't mind a bit of light rain or wet roads so much... the thing that gotme was the fog! That photo didn't do it justice, I literally couldn't see 20 yards in front of me.
Wondering what the motivtion was for the eat more comment? Skinny photo? Big meal? Saying I weigh 70kg?
Can highly recommend the 12 to anyone who is considering it. I put it of for aaaages because people said it's too big a bike, but honestly if you've been riding a good few years with a solid mix of riding and different bikes you'll cope fine... especially if you're a bigger bastid than me. I had no problems at all muscling it around, when you get used to turning it at highway speeds then the twisty stuff is a doddle.
The order of today is a shave and a very, very serious bike wash.
One thing I don't think I mentioned is that on Good Friday there was fairly limited fuel about... my 5 litre jerry can came in very very handy as I made the trip from Brisbane-Beaudesert-Rathdowney-Boonah-Rathdowney-Kyogle on the one tank+the extra splash.
