Dainese metal knuckled gloves tend to scare drivers. I'm only a 50kg lightweight and wouldn't hurt a fly... :lol:

Yeh... on the road to Muswellbrook from Denman alot of people speed anyway. Just hope some of them care enough to give me my space on the road.

I think it has more to do with that than L plates. It doesn't matter if I'm on the bike or in the car, if I stay 2 seconds back they will cut in.

On the subject of switching off turn signals; I rode a scoota for a couple of months before getting the bike. It had a really loud click sound with the signal, could hear it easily with full face helmet - I really miss that!

I must say im guilty of tearing along that straight myself when i was head back to Muswellbrook, nice bit of road to open it up on...

Just avoid roads with a higher than 80km/h speed limit ... find a twisty road and leave the cages for dead if ya can...

I try to do that, but both roads from here to the city have 100k zones on them. Luckily, one of them is less used and a little curvy. :twisted:
