as long as you get all the bits you wanted fixed, that is a good outcome all round........

The insurance company didn't want to pay for a new tank as the dent isn't that big, and said they would fix it only. I was pretty unhappy about that as I wanted the bike back to how it was, not repaired

Luckily I have the worlds most fantastic boss, when the assessor said that I was happy to have it repaired he said no way she is, and bought the assessor over to me.
So they're paying me out, and I'm buying all the bits at staff prices, not retail like they would have, so with the price difference I can afford the new tank.

Advantage of all of this is that with everything replaced I'll have spares
This arvo I'm going to Gillberg's house (KSRC member) he has some debaffled and shortened standard z1000 pipes, we're going to throw them on and see what happens

1) excellent, definately a better outcome than it could be

(a) More noise
(b) Less power
(c) Increased fuel consumption
on the upside......
(d) More noise
(e) Better looks
Just bung a Kerker on and be done with it !!!

Sorry to hear that Tanya.
Sorry for me too cause I got knocked over yesterday also by a chick who wasn't looking
obviously although she said she did but it was a split second....
It was hilarious when she was leaving after the detail swap when she said "I'm gonna be all paranoid and looking everywhere now" FARKEN DER! I said
"WELL THAT'S WHAT YOU SHOULD HAVE BEEN DOING IN THE FIRST PLACE AND THIS WOULDN'T HAVE HAPPENED!!!"
