I have to agree on this one also.
I owned/riden most of the listed brands, these days there is not much between any of the jap brands just like cars, all have improved leaps and bounds in recent years, just the same as clothes they are all different but do the same job, thats why manufactures make them, just as you don't see a clothing store full of only grey clothes or green for that matter.
Years ago, Kawaski's yes had half a dozen of them, OK I always had my hand in my wallet getting them fixed, Yamaha's had a couple of them two, a bit porky, Suzuki always went shabby looking very quickly and had poor resale value, had three Honda's somewhere in between all of them, went back to a Honda for my last two recent purchases, Why they suited my requirements, I wish I had the funds to purchase something a bit more Italian just to see what all the fuss is about, but out of the question, so rant over, I did not vote.
