Kishy- Yeah..he was one of those guys.........a very analytical type of mind. Every service fully documented, the book stamped, and all before time or Klms! Bike lived in a locked up shed on carpet and covered. Inside of the fairings looked cleaner than my dinner table (before the kids have had dinner), and the biggest lean angle the bike has ever had was on the side stand

Neka- No fuckin way mate. Crashing bikes with me always involves fcukin broken bones. And they fcukin hurt mate!!!! Remember the Ribs when I tipped over the Hornet???? :(

Now Plas, you really are a sadistic little bastard arn't ya!!! Don't worry, unless some one sets up the "SAVE THE 9 FUND"! and installs $8500 in my bank account, it's gunna be chopped up!!!!

Managed to free up some time tomorrow PM to devote to picking up the 9!!!! :) So once I have it back in the toy box, I will post some piccies of the new best.

Work on it unfortunately won't start till nearly the end of this month, which is my next workless oppotunity! :(

Strika wrote:Bear in mind ram air really has NO effect until the bike reaches speeds of 100mph! Before then, it is passive, and really just an extension of the airbox
Just as an aside, there's a guy on the ZX10R forum in the states who had a pressure sensor/data logger setup next to the velocity stack in the airbox of an 04 ZX10R. The average pressure was 0.65psi, the max pressure he got was 0.95psi, but the interesting bit was that at 75mph cruising and 65mph throttle closed it was still showing 0.4psi.

...and a belated congrats on the 9 mate 8)
