just pixed up a zx9r today, few more kays than i wanted, 55,000 but runs pretty well and was a good price. will post pics when i get a chance and take a few nice ones.

G'day and welcome!
I too had an Across first - got bored of it within a week, but due to certain circumstances was stuck with it for 2 years! But, I do believe it was a great learner bike.
And now, yes I ride a ZXR. Only a 98 model, but love her to bits! She was originally set up as a track bike and has a bit more poke than standard, but as you said, you only go as fast as you twist your wrist!
Anyway, good luck finding a bike. I was lucky, mine was cheap as it wasn't roadworthy (track use only). Painted her myself to cut costs!

where you at the kawa photo shoot with your six? I'm pretty sure you where from what you have written there about your bike, i was the one with the yellow across
got myself a nice zx9r now.
how did you go with the damage, did your BF get it fixed for you?
