Well court took for ever...
Got there at 9 left at 12
The judge went to give me the 2months home detention,
We appealed...
Took an hr for the appeal to go through...
Go to the Local Newcastle Court on the 8th of September...
My Soliciter and Barrister (yes i have 2) reckon i will get less from the Local Court Judge, but we shall see what happens when i present the evidence that my bike cant do the speed i was apparently clocked at.
The best thing about it is im still a free man and i can go andsee my daughter for her birthday tomorrow :D

Im glad you still get your day in court,
Pitty it's not over with, but you will get your chance.

Enjoy your daughters birthday, and try and forget about it for the day,. Very hard i would imagine,

I'm surprised that with the new evidence it didn't get thrown out..
No wonder our court system is clogged up..
For a 2nd opinion you should call Mark Steinberg at Lawstop
02 9477-1199, 0418 160 898 or email on mark@lawstop.com.au
Won't do any harm and he may be a better person to have on side, he rides and would know the ins and outs of these things.

Just an adjournment hearing by the sounds of it. Everyone attending court for the first time rolls up and is asked if they want to plead guilty or not.

If they do, the magistrate will often issue the penalty there and then.

If they plead not guilty, a future court date is made.
