2. This is a really trick question. If you take the first 'Kawasaki' engine to be the first engine fitted to a motorcycle that bore the Kawasaki name, then the 1963 B8 produced an outstanding 8bhp, which was increased to 11bhp in the subsequent model. This was the first motorcycle built by the Kawasaki Meguro Manufacturing Co.
Kawasaki were associated with earlier manufacturers, notably Meguro, however Kawasaki had 2 seperate 'arms', being Kawasaki Aircraft, and Kawasaki Meihatsu.
I will be really interested to see what Rob has in mind for the *correct* answer to this question !!

3. No fucking idea at all, but the chick in the photo looks like she has balls !! FFS !!

2. 1952 Design of the KE- 1 motorcycle Engine is completed. (Kawasaki Machine Industry (the precursor to Kawasaki Aircraft Company), Takatsuki factory). "Aircraft engineers" began the development of the KE (Kawasaki Engine) in 1949. Mass production starts in 1953.
The air-cooled, 148cc, OHV, 4-stroke Single has a maximum power of 4 PS (3.9hp/2.9kW) at 4,000 rpm.
In 1954 that Kawasaki Motorcycles produced their first complete motorcycle under the name of Meihatsu (a subsidiary of Kawasaki Aircraft Co.).
In 1955, Kawasaki Aircraft Company Kobe plant started production of the KB-5 engine. This engine was renowned for its response and torque. Meihatsu, a subsidiary of Kawasaki Aircraft Co., fitted the engine to their Meihastu 125-500.
In 1956 Meihatsu released the 125 Deluxe fitted with the improver KB-5A engine. These engine were the first to appear with the name Kawasaki stamped on the engine side case or cover.
And just for interest sake: The Meihatsu 125 Deluxe was said to be " A Durable Kawasaki Engine". The Meihatsu 125 Deluxe (Kawasaki Meihatsu Industries) achieved a top speed of 81.5 km/h at a motorcycle industry magazine test, setting a record for its category. In a separate test the Kawasaki engine proved phenomenal durability by running for 50, 000 km without breaking down.
