good luck, according to http://www.deeknow.com/notes/motorbike/ ... px250.html it may hit 170km/h, but the distance, yeah thatd definately be something to follow up on with the dyno guys too. Or at least get them to make odo readings at 0km/h and then get them to flog it through the gears to top and see how far it took you.
we all know it won't do 180.
but can they measure actual speed, or can they just go by the speedo?
i though dynos only measured horsepower and torque.

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

No, they measure at what speed you reached your top horse power as well..diesel wrote:we all know it won't do 180.

But if it scores in the high 170's they could argue that the calibration wasnt that far off. Hence the requirement to document how far it took for it to get that speed, and then go back and measure where you pulled out into the street, to where you got pulled over, to make sure it's way off in that regard.

well we shall see what it gets when Dave#3 and i get it to the dyno...
Just on another note, had another interview with the HD people today..
Ive elligable for HD if my case is lost which means im not going to go to goal if everything falls through, so thats alot more weight off my shoulders

With ZERO wind resistance you are going to get a higher top speed....Duane wrote:No, they measure at what speed you reached your top horse power as well..diesel wrote:we all know it won't do 180.
