1) DJ Fat Boy Slim is also known as?
2) The worlds first production motorcycle was a 1500CC twin (about 1000 were made). But who made it and in what year. Bonus kudos for getting its HP and top speed?
3) What event caused Ronster to reduce his Signature to 'C'?[/quote]
1. born: Quentin Leo Cook known as: Norman Cook
2. Mid-30's Crocker developed a high performance V-Twin engine with a three speed transmission which proved to be the fastest American production motorcycle of the era - 105 mph (0-60mph in 1st gear), 90ci - But probably not the first hey?? Plus there were less than 100 made.... not 1000
Just for trivia purposes tho; whilst reading and reading and reading, something i found interesting was that the Crocker V-Twin was so fast that the company offered a full refund of the cost of the motorcycle if it was beaten by a stock Indian or Harley-Davidson. No refund was ever asked for. And each bike was produced individually to customers specs. Anyway - just a bit of trivia for ya.
3. Dunno. Mmmm still not real good on searching the site for this stuff (I am getting better tho)- I can say it was before May 2004, if that's worth any bonus points lmao.

2.Sylvester Howard Roper 1867.... it was a steam engined motorcycle... it did 32mph maxxed out and provided up to 225psi. not sure if that counts as power... ill keep looking for the power figure in BHP Nope - not production.
baby_ninja wrote:alternatively for question 2 u have daimler building a motorcycle in 1885. it was a single cylinder with 0.5 HP @700 RPM and a top whack of 12km/h.
264cc bore of 58mm and a stroke of100mm.... im still trying to find this 1500cc twin ur talking about.....
Nope. This was considered the first ever motorcycle - gas rather than steam - and was built of wood - but it wans't a production run.

1 - Norman Cook,
2 - cant be arsed to google, some really old bike made by people that are dead now and the company no longer exists!!!
3 The aussie cricket team got into trouble for calling the english Pommies so Ronster changed his sign off as the term "Pommie" is not polictically correct.
PC = Pommie C*nt, now it is just C for C*nt

2 out of 3.
Yes to Quentin 'Norman' Leo Cook
Yes to Ronster removing the Pommie bit and just be a dead set C
So all we need it the name of the first ever 'production' motorcycle. It's only a few google pages away in motorcycle histroy.

We have a winner. The Hildebrand & Wolfmüller of 1984 was a production of 1000, rather than being make to order as all previous bikes had been. It had 2.5hp, and toped out at a heady 25Mph (40Km) - which is enough when the brake is a metal bar dragging on the ground!
