I've spent over 40 years of my life riding bikes .... the rest of it, I wasted ..

Hi all,
Thought I would show off my ride. I have posted some pics in the introduction area of the board but I thought I would post it up offical like.
I own a 07 zx10r se. I got her about 7 months ago. She didnt stay stock for long as I have added uridium double bubble screen, crash knob sliders, rear eliminator, seat cowl, perilii corsa diablo hoops, akra cf pipes and gi pro. Both Hel braided lines and PCIII are on order.

Only had it for 2 months, a 2007 ZX14 with Power Commander, Muzzy exhaust and a few other bits and pieces. I love it more and more each time I ride it, it is such a beast compared to my other bike which is a 2004 Suzuki Bandit. Just wish it had more low down grunt below 5000rpm, everywhere else in the rev range it is great.

Re: What's your bike??? (details and small pic )
My first bike was a Suzuki RG250WE-1, I got plenty of riding practice on it before I got around to getting a licence (naughty me!) then blew it up several times, but somehow avoided damaging myself in the process (engine seize at 140km/h, gearbox explosion, collapsed wheel bearings, you name it, it broke!)
Parked it in the shed when it needed more 4 spent on it than I could justify, and after a few years off a bike found a nice '86 GPz750-A3, in beautiful condition other than tired rings. When I took it off the road for a top end rebuild I discovered my $100 eBay purchase (a crash-damaged GPz engine I bought soon after getting the bike) had a nearly brand new Wiseco 810 Street Overbore kit hiding inside, which was quickly transplanted into the bike.

Re: What's your bike??? (details and small pic )
Here's my 2001 ZX7R...
25K miles on it, oops., I forgot I'm in the AU forum, so it's got about 56km on it!
The only mods I've done is increase the rear sprocket by 2, drop the front sprocket by 1 (and that's only because my stock chain crapped out after about 46Km on it) and on that note, I didn't really notice too much of a difference either)), added a nice glowing gauge cluster background, Hotbodies fender eliminator, LED turnsignals, and that's about it. I'm not too much of a mod person as you can see! I did have a D&D can on it for a while, but it was just too obnoxiously loud.
Here it is in its current state...

Re: What's your bike??? (details and small pic )
Here's my big girl. As mentioned in my Intro post, she's a '95 model. She's got Harlequin paint, polished wheels, Goodridge discs & braided brakes lines, a WP rear shock, revalved front shocks and a green screen. All mod's were done before I bought her.
Her original owner died of cancer. A mate of his bought the bike off him before he passed away and went to work on her, hoping he'd get finished before his mate died. Unfortunately, his efforts fell just short. He then sold the bike to the guy I bought it off, who hardly rode her. She sat in his garage, under a blanket. Me? I ride the pants off her. That's what she was built for! I ride 110km return to work most days and get out on weekends when I can. I live right near the Qld / NSW border ranges, so my "playground" is right in my backyard!
