OK, after an ehaustive search thru my AMCN archives I found them. Its over about 3 or 4 articles so I'll list the main mods.
Braided lines - $198
Power Commander, fitted - $685
Akropovic system - $2400
Rearsets - $399
520 conversion - $350
Ducktail - $200
Front guard - $110
Hugger - $90
Nose - $220
Mtoby Damper - $749
Suspension by Shock Treatment
race tech fork springs .95kg, up from ,78kg std- $175
fork re-valve - one leg - $149
zx6r shock - re-valve - $175
Top speed at eastern creek 238 kph best lap time was 1:44... I think
Best lap time at P.I. was a 1:45 so the bike was getting better by the end of the season.. PI is about 3 to 4 seconds slower than E.C...

That was the suspension mod to one fork only. They also added the zx6r dog bones to raise the rear ride height by 17mm and they raised the forks in the triple clamps by 6mm.

Here tis Wattie, he is at Wallacia.
I rang him to ask him about the Zed, as he has done all my bikes.
He said he has done heaps of Zed's
He said front and back new springs and gold valves & fixing up dummy leg to have adjustment around $850 all up, and it will be a different bike.
Tis better than any horsepower mod IMO. He did the amcn track bike.

Varden,
i need someone to race. Buy an old '95 ZX6R or ZXR750 and come New Era Racing with me. the Sporties charge less for entry fees and the money you save on buying the bike you could 'reinvest' into the bike.

Ya' know if you and Greenmeanie got stuck into the old stuff, KSRC could end up OWNING the New Era class around here...... Would be very cool. Our stranglehold on the Superbike thing is not so strong.........
Having said that I am really liking the idea of racing a Z1000 Nationally in the Naked class. However it is just the small problem of the 50k plus needed to do it each year......
