Here is the post from Andy from NSR World who we are going through for the group buy. He has been a massive help so far and has blown every other price out of the water.
Hello guys,

I hope you don't mind me sticking my oar in, but Troy mentioned that I may be able to help you guys out, so I thought I would join the Forum and make myself known!

I have just spoken to Simon Lane (the MD of HEL Performance here in the UK) on the phone, and he tells me that the ADR approval has been rescinded, and that now, so long as the lines match one or more other world-wide recognised type approvals such as DOT or ISOxxxx etc., then they are considered suitable for ADR approval too.

Simon says that he is happy to include a letter of confirmation with the delivery to state compliance to all their current approvals, and also to supply rubber caps for the fittings where/if still required.

I'm not sure if I am allowed to mention any prices here, but I will throw caution to the wind and do it anyway, and a moderator can blank it out if necessary!

I will do a 3-line kit (as part of a group purchase - min 20 orders) in full stainless steel (lines, banjos, and bolts) for AU$115, including any colour options.

I am also prepared to offer custom lines, i.e. you send me your personal spec's (for streetfighters with risers and wide bars, etc.) for AU$50 per line, again including all colour options for hose and banjos.

As I hope you will appreciate, at AU$115 for a 3-line kit, I think (hope!) you will be hard pressed to find cheaper. Therefore a 2-line kit will be priced as per 2 x custom lines (i.e. AU$110).

All line kits will come with HEL's lifetime warranty and personal registration card, and will be shipped direct from the factory. Payment can be made via PayPal too, which will mean one simple payment, and no bank transfer or currency conversion charges, as this will all be taken care of this end.

I hope this is of help to you all.

Best regards,

Andy.

If you are interested mate confirm ya order, this is definitely going ahead!

I doubt postage will be much at all to get the lines to Perth, if its expensive enough that I have to share the cost it I cant see it being more then $5 extra each. Then as per my first post in this thread, if you dont live in Perth it will cost approx $10 for me to then personally post it to wherever you are. It could be slightly more or less, I have never posted braided lines to anyone is Australia before so wouldnt have a clue how much sorry guys. I cant see it being more then $10 though.

I will be handling the payment and shipment. I have posted this group buy on 3 different forums (all of which I have been a member for for a long time so you can definitely trust me). I was also the WA pickup point for the carbon fibre group buy this forum did.

Great price.... I wish we'd done that but it seems we were told porky's about the ADR and warranty issues, unless things have changed in the last few months...

Postage should only be about $5 as they should fit into a small prepaid plastic post bag...

BTW any idea how much a single rear line would cost...??.. :D

Unfortunately I think the deal he has with HEL UK only allows him to get cheap full kits. For example a 2 line kit for a sports bike will cost $110 still, when the 3 line kit costs just $5 more.

The only exception is if its for a bike with only 1 front disk, hence a 2 line kit would be all they require. For those situations he said he can definitely get a good price on them.

But otherwise I would imagine a single rear line for a sports bike would be $55. If you are interested I will email him and check for you.

I have also just heard back that postage to Perth should be included in the price, hence it will only cost $115 plus whatever it costs for me to post it to you ($5 - $10 max)!!!

Haha dude did you even read my updated first post? :P
All colour options are listed on the HEL UK webpage which I linked to.
Here they are though so you dont have to look for em:

Lines: clear, red, yellow, blue, neon blue, orange, black, purple, deep purple, green or carbolook

Fittings: Red, Green, Blue, Black, Purple and Gold

So gold fittings are fine but you will need to update your line colour. Thanks,
