I often pay the price for being honest....
If I know it has a problem, I would let them know .....
At least I sleep well at night

I checked out a ZZR250 for a client last week. It was at a dealer for $3900. It was the worst heap of crap I have ever ridden, and I filled two pages with faults in it, albeit being a bit fussy and listing all cosmetic damage.(lots...) It also had the wrong battery in it, damaged front rim, smoked when you revved it, had a front disc 3.55mm thick (I miked it) and the minimum is 3.5mm- so just legal BUT it was warped....all passed RWC and on to some sucker in turn.

I reckon my GN250s would see it off easy- and they are S L O W. Not ZZR behaviour at all- I have ridden a couple of GPX250s lately and they were much quicker/better bikes. Should be similar performance in a ZZR.
At the same dealer a mate of mine traded a bike recently for $1000- it is now on the floor for $2500. Knowing the bike I am sure the dealer spent nothing on it. No wonder I buy almost all my bikes privately. I did buy my Spada cheap from a dealer, and it is a very nice bike- I think they gave it to me cheap because it had cooling system problems- overheated on the highway- of course they didn't tell me. Lucky it was a cheap fix- radiator cap and fan switch...less than $100. Went back six months later to the dealer for another similar bike- they said no way they would sell a bike that cheap again. At least it was cheap- $2500. One months rego, single seat and 47000km (high mileage) might have contributed too.
