whoops thought the 1000 came with rebound and compression on the forks and i knew there wasnt much doing adjustability wise at the rear because they where swapping out the stock stuff for 03/04 zx6r shockies.
if you have one rebound adjuster at the front add 2 clicks to it and have another ride that slows down the bounce to reasonable rate doesnt stop the dive but slows it a bit on the way up.
Steve would have adjusted it to what he thought might have worked but missed out on the ride up the local hills.
If I rode my bike at the speed of light, what would happen when I switched on its headlights?
The only 'other' bike I have ridded was a z750 and I did not like it. Its just different...

are't like my dad's one it's because their is one not always clean." -ariel circa 2007 http://GPZninja.blogspot.com/
even without adjustment im sure a place like promecha could revalve them and set them up nicely for your body weight..... they would wanna get it right tho
if your going to kill a bronze, you gotta do it BIG!
AMCN raced a z1000 in the naked bike class a couple of years ago. They modified the forks so both legs had full adjustments.
I don't believe it was that difficult and if I had time I'd find the article..
Terry Hay at shock treatment did it so a call to him may give you some ideas.....
