I'll say - there called z900's, and they will still be running in 30 years time - long after heaps of 80's and 90's 2-bob shitboxes have died a miserable death........

$5k to me is abit over the top with the price

So Diesel's Price would also be to much, seeing that it is 2 yrs older.

Sportsbike 250's reach about 5k for the lowest price and then stay there....

Tis a fact of life.... Most of them are around the low to mid 90's ...

Have a look around and you will notice the same applies to YZF 250's CBR 250's etc etc....

Anything newer than 1995 and all of a sudden they go up to 7k or more...

Ridiculous, unfortunate, and stupid I know.... but thats Australia for you....
The world is round. It has no point.

$5K is pretty standard price.

but remember they are all the same.
the kms tell u more than years.

it comes down mainly to the overall look of the bike IMO.

for example.
mine has a fresh paint job, but a couple of scrathes on the can and back of the mirror (which you can't see unless u closely inspect it)

the black one looks like it has been crashed given the lack of stickers, but may not have any other marks on it (though i doubt it)

go with your gut.
its your new bike/baby (depending on how paternal you are :D).
