Sure about that?

Just make sure they're not into little altar boys I guess ....

Seriously though, I know plenty of people who've used internet dating sites, (me included), and plenty who've had sucess with them. Sure, you have to sift through the crap until you find the diamonds though.

I reckon its actually safer than picking up at pubs and the like, cause you can get to know them via email and phone before you bother to go to the trouble of meeting them.

Well your right about not limiting yourself to dating sites, i just was replying to the one theme & forgot to mention that too. Two people i know met up & got married via another bike forum i know (unfortunately she was one of those people i know that passed on recently).

But still it goes to prove that it CAN be done in a number of ways:-)

If you want to meet a person of T-O-S, then woolies on a monday night is the goa! Anytime between 6 and 8 abouts. Just saunter up to the cheese cabinet and arc up a conversation about Jarlsberg or any such smelly cheese. If they are in the market and like the look of you they will come on to it and start talking banalities. Then, when you feel the rapore, just tell them something like "you really know a lot about cheese don't you?" And when they smile or laugh, close the deal with "Hey look, there's some excellent coffee at *insert coffee shop* lets go and have one together and you can explain why the stinky cheeses are always more expensive than the nice smelling ones." <this line is critical> If they don't laugh at this also it's best to just say "well, perhaps not" and then walk away because they are obviously too stuck up and would never tolerate a biker who gets around in sweaty jacket with greasy hands. :)
