You may get some joy but i doubt it, thats the same shop front that is resposible for Yappa's bike requiring 10 (count them) 10 paint jobs & he's still riding a loaner after nearly 10 months of drama.
The only joy i can see is that its a new colour & they should be doing plenty of Insurance jobbies on newer bikes so hopefully they will get it right first time.
hth.
Cheers Brett
i really hope so.... these guys will do anything to get u to buy a bike... so i hope they will do anything to help u out when there something wrong with it!!

bummer chill :x I would be camped on the managers front lawn. " first you gotta meet him so you know what he looks like", then get two cars and tag him home, just like in the movies! They take a whole new attitude when you show up at their home address - with a mate or two standing beside you.

BTW.. The mates are just witnesses in case he gets heavy on you

Simple. Contact the dealer at first available opportunity. Advise them that you want the tank replaced with a new item. If they refuse to remedy the problem, let them know you will be spreading the word abou thow unhelpful they are, and that you will also be taking them to consumer affairs.

Report it to a Kawasaki dealer immediately (does not have to be where you bouhgt the machine if you are not comfortable) and see what they have to say.

But make sure that you can backup the facts that the bike has been stored undercover and had nothing spilt onto it.

In your dealings with Kawasaki make sure you point out that this is a MANUFACTURING DEFECT, and that they have to cover the warranty for that. If you end up dealing with head warranty cockhead in Sydney don't take his shit and insist on your repairs being done- he is a wanker and will blame anything but Kawasaki for defects in your bike- he is the reason I won't be buying another new Kawasaki- took me two months, and many emails before I forced him to fix my bike...I think he sensed I was going to go down there and sort him out in the end.
