i think its an injector, if it runs ok when fanging it its using the fuel thats pumping in it, but running bad when idling coz its fowling up, by over fueling. its maybe stuck open. if you ride is you might get some awesome flames out the back when it gets warm hehe
i wouldnt ride it if i didnt have to.

hate to say it, but the only thing good about kawasakis is the people that ride them.
I reckon sell it ASAP, and buy a Suzuki Gixxer 750!!! That's what my plans are.....

Yankee- Is this the first major sportsbike you've owned, ............CUS YOUR GOIN ON LIKE A WOMAN (WELL WIFE)........cus I'll tell ya it won't be the first to fark up.
Doesn't matter what you own mechanical in life, it's gonna fark up occasionally, bikes, cars even farkin washin machines
Now, I suggest ya stop slaggin the Kwaks off, pay ya money, get it fixed and get over it.
If ya really wanna buy a Spewsuki then great, but don't keep slaggin off the Kwaks on a Kwak site!
Lifes a bitch and she can deal some shit and really if this is all you've got to worry about then mate, you've got it made.
Rant over!

The dude has just had a major drama with his bike.....

he already has a thread doing that.. this thread is about your bike isn't it??
I'm not being bitch, a bike with highish kms that gets a bit of a hard time, something is bound to break. It didn't stuff up with him running the wrong fuel in it for a long time, it's mechanical, things break. carrying on won't fix it.
btw how are you going with your bike?

Yankee should just do like I do, and blame someone else.

Nope nope, it's not the engineers fault. It's Jase's fault - he said to blame someone else first. Send him the invoice Yankee!!!

Yep, sounds good to me. Then I'll blame someone else and refuse to pay it. It all works out in the end.

The injectors are closed until power is put on them.
My courier had a similar problem but it has group fire injection so 2 of the injectors where open when running as the ecu had fried it self a little & they where getting the full 12Volts & fuel was pissing out the exhaust like a top fuel drag car on Methanol!
