I have ridden mine fairly err ......carefully....errrr throughout it's ownership, and used a errrr sedate....errr method of running it in. (warmed it up and thrashed it to within an inch of it's life  ) It now has 8500klms on it (been spending too much time on the racer, and Melbourne's weather really sucks  ) and i have not had any problems whatsoever with it. I must admit that I run a special oil though. It is called NEO synthetic. It's an american oil, diesther based apparently  and works a treat. I have been using it for ten years and never had any lubrication related wear issues. I use it in my racers too 8)

I troll the US forum occasionally and they also have few if any faults to report. Mostly it's operator error that I read about.

There are really only two questions in life. 1.Which way do i go? 2.What is the lap record?

mine is running like a dream,

only issue I had was the damn gear lever bolt vibrating loose and falling out! I was stuck in 2nd or 3rd until I got to my mates place and put a temp one in. I then loctite'd the hell out of the replacement one when I got it!

Other than that it has been great :)

Yeah, it sucked! I was not very damn happy at all, just lucky it was in a gear that I could ride a decent pace and still take off reasonably ok withough having to ride the hellout of the clutch

There he goes. One of God's own prototypes. Some kind of high powered mutant never even considered for mass production. Too weird to live, and too rare to die.

Mines starting to get a Cam Chain rattle and i've only done around 300kms on the new fella.

Am I just being paranoid or just wait till the 1000km service and ask them then?
