I have been using BMW leather riding boots for 5 years, first pair lasted 4 years, 70,000km, fully waterproof, about $300
might be worth a look

i have had Oxtar matrix gortex boots since 2003 on the bosses recommendation, 5 bikes and 100000k later they are still waterproof, zips are perfect and very comfy, not looking pretty any more but not quite wasteland either.

Puma have just realeased their new range...

I think MCAS has them too - Awesome Puma gore-tex boots
