Someone at the track the other day said I would gain half a second by fitting one. Was he full of shit or are they that good to have?
I have a PK Power quickshifter on mine, its basically a copy of the dynojet one, but much cheaper. Never had a problem with it once set up, but I have done 2 gearboxes.. one due to an incorrect install though... (sealed oil galleries...)
You need the power commander to run it, but on the later models with 8 injectors you also need the expansion module... We found that out after fitting one to Blurrs 08, hence it went onto Watties 06.....

Unless you are actually using the clutch now, there's no way you'd make up half a second.
Agree but it can get close to that... but not on a ZX10! You won't change gears often enough to add up to half a sec, I think. Smaller engines benefit more from quickshifters, I reckon.

Trick with them is not to lean on it, you need to change gears sharply.

Hey Guys,
I started this whole thing :) Just getting back to you i Put the Annitori in and it is pretty awesome. Nice up in the high rev range a little clunky down low but that's what the clutch is for.
At the end of the day the amount of times you have the thing anywhere near full throttle on the road is like how often you see pigs flying :)

I have it on the default Medium setting and it works very well. Just got to adjust your riding style a little on the down shifts and your in business. Would definitely go that over the PC version which i tested also on another bike.

Thanks for all the support and help again Guys.

What sort of revs are we talking about when it's clunky shannony?
