stuff like this is hardly news - the NSW coppers used to drive around in bright pink LJ Toranas in the 70's FFS !! the only difference back then was they didn't have video cameras mounted to their heads.

Think the colour was actually 'hot pink' commonly referred to as nipple pink...

at one stage about 20 years ago between mittagong and goulburn on the hume hway there used to be a copper in an old blue dodge ute with a couple of hay bales in the back working with a highway patrol car i know this for a fact as it cost me $140 for passing the ute
