Cheers for the nice Welcome. 8)
My training for my test starts tomorrow & I'm hoping to have it done by the end of the week but obviously that depends on test dates etc.
As for where I am I am bang in the middle of England between Leicester & Coventry in a small town called Hinckley. Best road around here is the A444 starting at the A5 end, Awesome road with loads of open sweeping bends.
I helped arrange a bike meet last month off the tech forum I use & 20 bikes turned up, All that traveled the A444 agreed it's an awesome ride.
Next meet & ride out is the A44 to Aberystwyth, My Welsh neighbour told me about it & looking on Google maps it does look superb so a trip out to the West coast along that road will be the next big meet/run. It was the bike meet that gave me the big push to do my test. Was ok meeting the guys when they came to my manor but I need my big bike/license to be included elsewhere. On top of this England is completely crap when it comes to traffic volume & getting about in a car these days is a joke & no fun at all.
To be honest I should have done it when I was 17 back in the dark ages when you only had to do the one test, Big Doh there

Been out twice today & done 150 miles, Took about 50 miles to feel proper comfortable on the bike but I have to say the bike is really easy to ride & just goes wherever you are looking. Front brake about pulls my face off & the acceleration & power seems endless. (At the Mo  )

Happy biker here. 8)
