hahahahah well that is more like your LC was ridden by a budda and blessed by Beelezebub !!

One of the originators of the 'LC Cup' which was a sub-class in the PCRA many years ago - Terry Kirk - is a local down this way. He is currently selling 3 x LC's on fleabay - MickLC and I had a look at these on the weekend. The current bid ( as a job-lot only) is around $1700, but with 4 days to go anything could happen. I know what the reserve is and reckon it is a bit steep - considering that none of the 3 bikes actually runs ! but you never know.

Personally I reckon that a bog-stock road-going LC that can be ridden away from the sale, is not worth more than $4k tops. Absolute tops. It would need to have <5k mileage and be in really good nick for $4k. Race-bikes are a different kettle of fish altogether. A well-sorted track LC should be had for anything between $3k and $5k.

Really :D

But seriously folks .. the market is pretty depressed right now , BUT sub 5k LC ?? gotta be worth more than 4 grand . FMD a sub 5 k LC is right up there with rocking horse stuff . A 3fiddy even rarer .
Unmolested sub 10 k complete 250 LC = $6 K

And by the way ..if you , Budda and the Pope can get 3 running LC 350's outta that load of sheit , I'll be bringing a couple of gallons of water to get converted into wine , so I can have a drink while you lot turn pigshit into strawberry jam :D
Ummmm let me see

hahahah nice edit ! Terry did have 1 of those bikes working really well back in the early 90's - it was just as quick as Mark Boddy's 350 from back then.....

Yes I know that finding an LC with <5k on the clock is unlikely......most of them have been thrashed well past that mileage....

Here is a good example of what I am talking about - and arguably a better bike than any 250LC.......

1983 RZ250R - $2300 Currently at $2300 but will probably end up going for closer to $4k. Maybe.....it looks to be in reasonable nick as well ?

There is another 350LC on ebay at the mo. Nice with 57000km on it, $8000 not met reserve. Fuck me that is approaching ZRX1200 dollars. Know what I'd rather have, and I have had BOTH..
2 X ZRX1200R 4 X ER6N, GT550, 1988 ZX-10, 4 X GPZ250R, 4 X GPZ900R and GPZ750R :) Yeah I like Kawasakis.

That LC looks tidy - but I have found over the years that bike prices in Perth are always heaps higher than the eastern states - probably due to the low numbers of bikes sold in total over there, just about everything sold is only in limited numbers right from the word go

It won't get sold at $8k, let alone the reserve which is probably $10k.

What I did spot though, was this - a bargain and good Period 6 racer !!

OWO1 FZR 750 $2,249.00 Minor crash damage

that FZR would be a fantastic base to build a Marlboro Yamaha replica P6 750 race bike.

That FZR is about as close to an OWO1 as my grandma's zimmer frame . Its just a stocker and could be had 6 months ago for $1800 .
Another case of Ebay bullshit .
