When I was chief instructor at a dog training club I hated them mainly because half the owners had no idea about how to control the dog, and as others have mentioned they are very good at pulling, so you can imagine what a adult male or female can to do a 15 year old girl on the end of a leash.

Having met Timmyrocks' missus, she's smaller than most 15 year olds

She will be better off with a horse saddle and reins.

thats the plan wattie,,,,, seeing as they love pulling so much i'll make a little carrige up for her and the dog can go nuts

isnt she adorable!!!!
she has already learnt sit, stay, shake, drop, roll over, high 5, high 10, kisses and cuddles

she is very treat responsive

were currently walking her and shes doing great, a little bit of a poo sometimes but gets the point with a firm tug on the leash.

only dug one hole in a spot were O.K with and have let her know thats the spot to dig and made it nice and soft for her

she's enrolled in puppy school and me n the missus couldn't be happier

Mate she's gorgeous! Owned a Husky for over 10 years and they are a fantastic dog! Very friendly and loyal. Just make sure you start training them when they are young and keep them occupied. They love to dig and prep yourself when you take them walking! Once they take off you can't stop them so just go with it

Thats a gorgeous bundle of trouble!

I used to live with a chick who had 2 males, father and son.. great guard dogs. Well trained for her when she was home, but she couldnt explain how they chewed the handles off my $$$ knives which were in a wrap on the bench

I've owned mine for 12 years and I think she's great. She's a cross between a husky and malamute.
She loves to walk and likes to pull hard. But I found a lead that made walking her so much easier. It's a halti, which just wraps around her head and snout so instead of having to pull her entire body weight to pull her up you just pull her head.
She can try and dig at times mainly to bury some food. But she's so smart and listens really well.
Very loyal and playful, doesn't bark but can howl at times. Love a swim and when she gets hot loves to place her front legs and head in bucket of water. Worst quality of breed is the fur, but if you keep up with it it's not bad. Don't regret getting her.
She has a great personality also.

Nice dog mate

Yer she's going great with the training and being really good. Were not going to stop her from digging, as long as its in the right places

Were brushing her every 2 days, she really enjoys it

We have got her the Haiti walking face collar, she didn't really like it so we will try when she's a bit bigger cause it was a bit big.
We have a few mal and husky owners in our area and have been more than helpful with tips

were just waiting for her kennel cough injection then she can play with them

I'll keep the photos up as she gets bigger. Won't be to long hehe
