I am going to keep some bits - not sure what yet until I pull it apart completely.

Have seen 2 done and from my hazy memory there is more than just elongation required. The mount needs to be cut from the frame and relocated.
Led to believe that back in the day Mick Bubb was the first to complete this conversion when he was at BTX and his ponytail was alot more black than grey. I remember the bike and it was a very tidy 750 and done very well. Number plate was Vic rego "AKIRA"

I dont really know coz I havnt done one but had a serious look into it a while back thinking I could do the same with a ZXR H1 frame I have and use my 9R B2 engine, apparently you cant or at least no one has done one anyway as they used a GPX based engine.

Actually that is a B2 as the next in the series had 6 spot tokico's afaik and had the passenger grab rails..

Spot on. Also a bit of fiddling with airbox set up and a few other things. If you rang Mick he might even tell you the exact specs. He was good with shit like that. Could ride too!! only thing he wasn't good at was maintaining his own race bike! I watched as his handlebar snapped under brakes into Honda on his ZXR750J Privateer superbike. He had left it out in the rain for a season, thinking he was retiring, pulled it back into the shed and freshened it up and took it to the Island. Didn't think that the Clip ons might rust out in the weather!!! He crashed BTW. once the bar let go, the front brake locked and he pancacked onto the track. Not funny then, but looking back it was once we knew he was OK!

Getting a bit away from the question but.
Had Micks RC30 in the garage for a short time. I offered him whatever he wanted for it but wouldn't sell. He was "Gunna" get it sorted. LOL the Bike was good but the engine was only the cases and all of the internals had been robbed for something else. Hope that it has been stored safely or gone to a good home

Fuel hoses and the knob for the fuel tap. Oil cooler hoses. Bar end weights. Horn. The plate between the carbs and airbox with the trumpets. One of the big allen bolts that holds the engine cradle. Airbox drain hoses.

Yeah I know a few but that wont help you.

I tried all the wreckers then found Kawasaki still have those in stock (or they did a year ago) $35 iirc, the fuel tap knob is common only to B models the ZZR1100 looks similar but doesn't quite fit properly, although this part doesn't cross over a few parts on this model do with ZZR, ZRX, ZX7's,ZXR's/GPZ's and some others, but you probably know this .

Thanks Jonno, I did know that, but I'd rather give Jed a few pesos for whatever he doesn't want before I think about new prices. I'll have to go to Kawasaki for some stuff, but will wait until I can't get them anywhere else.

I may be able to help you with some of these parts - knob for fuel tap - bar end weights - horn - big allen bolt.... As far as the airbox hoses etc. Not sure if i need them yet.

That looks great. Is the paint heatproof? I don't know if the stuff I used on my frame will be any good for the engine, but after being in two minds about leaving it plain, now its definitely getting black!

I managed to find some bar weights, but I'm still wanting the other stuff. Heading off to the wreckers in a minute to rummage through his box of nuts and bolts, but after having a quick glance in it the other day, I think I'll just be confirming that he doesn't have much.
