Just found out i have to do one in the old falcon, rear of engine down behind the bell housing.
Motor out.
I have heard of going through the fire wall but that's a bit rough laidback

Consider yourself lucky, the early 3.8 commodores did them like lollies. Rare to hear a falcon requiring them. For some reason holdens have huge a problem for years.

Hahaha welch plugs how i loath them. Try doing one on a 1JZ-GTE similar shit spot or repairing a blown coolant hose on a CA18DET under the inlet manifold (half the damn inlet has to come out to get to it).
Or even better do a thermostat on a alloytech commo motor vz,ve etc right at the back tiny hands needed.
