Nearly makes me want to hand in my Orange Zed Seven Fiddy!! I do like the wee dark screen Natty! Where did you score that? Good to see someone from my old neck of the woods (livin in Sydney but lifes better back in the Nock!!) with a real nice piece between their legs! As for the heated grips once you've tasted it on a rainy cold ride to the Bathurst races you can never go back!!!!

The screen is a Puig race from US via ebay....not great on the wind protection but much better than the stock one was .
Thanks all... she is a lovely bike...just on 8000 k's now & loving her more & more each ride
Done a few 3 day trips so far but PI will be the big test ....but im thinking she will pass with flying colours, she is comfy to ride with oodles of power
Personally, I've never really been a fan of these paticular bikes. However, some of the pics and examples I've seen of late, I must say, I'm changinging my opionion.
With the Z1000, are they just a detuned ZX10 without fairings?
I remember when I had my ZX7, I took it into Brighton Kawasaki for a service and they lent me a Z750. It had plenty of power, very smooth on the throttle and gears, unlike the ZX7 was, and had heaps of go, enough to get me into and out of trouble.
