My SD pipe didnt come with that stuff either and doesnt leak but as Six Addict says it shouldnt be a problem :D

24,000km with a yoshi from day one and never had a problem. If you got the balls you can get the bike to shoot flames :lol: :lol: :kuda:
did this the last day i had the bike. little to say my hearing is a little bit more shot now :oops: :lol:

Similar thing happened with my yoshi on my ER, I plugged the PAIR valves. And it doesn't backfire on start up and RARELY on deceleration.

Update: Its back on ! Been on for about two weeks and in that time its only backfired twice and its been kind enough to only do it in the arvo startup and not in the morning.I used a bit of exhaust tape around the pipe one time around and slid the slip on over the top of it(there was a small difference in diameter between the pipe and slip on,enough that it wont tighten right up solid without the the tape)
