My mate has an 06 ZX12R we had it on the dyno & fitted the K&N to see if there was any truth in what they claim. He picked up 4hp from 7000 through to rev cut. Ive done dozens of both BMC & K&N changed in cars & found them to both work as well as eachother. All done on a dyno on hi hp V8s.. So They work of that there is no doubt. Is it worth getting one? If you plan of keeping your bike for more than 12 months, YES if you want that little bump up in performance for racing? YES. If your happy with your bikes performance then? Well its up to you.

Well thanks for all the input on the filter thing Guys ........ I got a set from Superbike supply ( very good people to deal with I might add )
Only trouble I had was fitting them into the bottom channel of the filter sockets ( I think K&N should taper them a bit I think  ) I ended up
having to file them slightly rounded on the edges for easier fitment.
Like you all said not really much of a diff with them .
Time will tell .............. Now what sort of bling can I buy ;) :D :D :kuda:

there is a bit out there for 12's mate - but not anywhere near as much as for the Busa's.

I have my own theory on why this is so. It's basically the same reason they make so much make-up for fat ugly bitches - it's to make them more attractive to potential owners.

Thusly - Busa's have a *shitload* of bling available for the same reason. To turn them from fat ugly bitches into something slightly less ugly (but still fat).

Now a good-lookin'chick - she don't need much make-up to look attractive.

Thusly - there is far less bling on the market for a ZX12R.

You Know It Makes Sense !
