Re: MetalGear Brakes
Im gonna try some.... I have been using Ferodo sintered pads but Im ready to try something new...
As for a discount.... If you look on their site,
http://www.metalgear.com.au/display.php?cPath=1704 (zx10-r 04-07)
You will NOT get those kind of prices on Ferodo or EBC pads... Hell, they are half the price...

Re: MetalGear Brakes
As if Google Adwords and all of the marketing shit you get hit with wasnt enough.
As a representative of Metal Gear DO NOT JOIN A FORUM TO FLOG YOUR PRODUCT UNLESS YOU COME TO THE TABLE WITH GENUINE SAVINGS.
Metal Gear is available through almost every store in Aus and you sell at wholesale to them so if you come here as a shithead door to door salesman expect to be treated as one. Advertising is not cheap so if your going to whore yourself to bump up your own monthly figures then make it worthwhile in undercutting your retailers or get stuffed.
Your retailers wont be happy when Joe Bloggs walks into their local store and states that he can get the same product for less through a Metal Gear Salesman that is offering a discount to members of an internet forum....but you have not offered a discount so get stuffed or put your money where your mouth is. Are you willing to forsake the struggling retailers for your own self promotion?
The ball IS in your court. Have you got the fortitude to return serve?

LMAO. Pity that guy isn't around to respond. Did anyone actually buy anything off him?

Re: MetalGear Brakes
Metal gear is available through most retailers Australia wide. They are not a manufacturer but a rebadged re-seller.
They are generic items. Dont believe the hype. The wave / Buzzsaw / standard discs available on ebay come from China.....So too do Metal gear. The price you pay is up to you.
I'm all for Aussie retailers but when they get shafted on wholesale price and cannot compete with the international internet market because of third party middlemen that keep them waiting on delivery of parts for the same duration as it would take to buy them direct from Wang in China they are hobbled and I / you may as well utilise the internet to get better service and savings.
I have a heap of issues with chinese re-sellers and I fucking hate the way they gouge the market.....Just because evryone else is.

Yep, dont buy shit from china, use only quality brands, sure they cost a bit more, i only use carbom race pads on the tracky, and good pads on the roady, sbs, ebc pf/pads ect, why, when i arrive at honda/crash ect at full speed, i dont wont to be worrring about the fucking thing not stopping, not for the cost of a few more dollars, what is ur bike and body worth???? bit more than the 50 bucks u saved???

God, here we go again, the "cheap chinese" vs "overpriced known brand" debate.
And all I did was asked if anyone actually bought anything from him
