Just been in the shed experimenting.

Think instead of painting them (brackets) I will cover them with electrical heat shrink.
Seemed to work but I only had red.
Off to the shop in the morning.

I should have it on by the end of the week end.

Here you go Steve.

This is with the brackets I just made. (Not tight)
I am going to get some more strap & re-make them.
They worked out ok but I am not happy with how it lines up.
Dont think I will be able to do much more today with out getting some more strap.

Dont know if I will paint any stripes in it?
I think I might just put a couple if stickers on it.

Pretty happy with how it turned out. :kuda:
Its pretty close to the exhaust, just have to wait & see how hot it gets I guess.

Thanks Dave.

Once I do the brackets again & it lines up better I will be happy.

I am going to make it sit a little lower from the frame.
Its sitting on the exhaust at the back edge of the pan.

I did some good thinkin last night after that bottle of JD...

Love it, !!!
Some decals would just finish it nicely.. Well done Scott.
The yank glass is so much better then our's. I got my raceglass for my FZR from the US & its really top shelf stuff. I have our stuff [aussie] on the GSXR & its junk. The septics really know their glasswork.

Not sure about the stickers.
But they will do for a while, at least when I get sick of them I can peel them off.
