good on him. Cops probably did 180 km/h just after the U turn to catch up with the bike going ~120km/h, most probably putting the general public at high risk in doing so!

Ardy certainly has a number of valid points also and his perspective is appreciated

Prob a bit of a knee jerk reaction posting this thread but here are summary of my OPINIONS and some facts to ponder:

-Rider WAS NOT speeding in the 80 zone at all IMO(any doubt of this -ie red mist syndrome etc .... it happens ) was negated when I heard the the evidence in court given I had already witnessed the initial fine and written statement by both officers - particularly the Senior Constable....and yes I'm being completely impartial.There is the possibility rider MAY have been doing 124 in the 110 zone .. she was prepared to wear that . It was fortunate for the rider this was dismissed on a technicality.

-This thread is not about how you can fuck up and have a 'Get out of Jail' card. IMO and the reason it even went to trial is because the Sen Const' either misread the speed detection equipment , mis operated the equipment or was just plain greedy!!!
I would like to think justice was served but in a perfect world a court / magistrate should not have been at all necessary to begin with(A legal technicality should not have been required in my opinion - just the truth , the whole truth and nothing but ....... from ALL parties)

My rant relates to a member of the force who fucked up / diregarded the consequences of her actions towards a mate of mine .. A similar thread would have been posted should she been a travel agent / car-bike salesperson / finance brocker etc,etc.... I sorta get annoyed when ppl fuck over the innocent..
