In that case, do you think you could find for me the rulings on lane splitting in all its' guises Neo? ;)
I did a wheel skills course not very long ago and the bloke there said, at any time when there are 2 vehicles sharing the same lane it's illegal.
I guess this could be interpreted, as long as you're not being observed sharing the same lane then it's ok.

Obviously this does not include high fiving your mate after doing wheelies through an rbt, on your 250. (see howto: 250 mono post) :P :P  jokes.

My mate said he was quoted by the RTA man the same thing Tim, i kept arguing with him saying he was wrong lol. It used to says that you must hold your license for a 12months before you can pillion thats it! they make it very vague. My interpretation of this law is that your Provisional license period (P1) is counted as P1 is technically a license and not a permit, thats why B-Ry's instructor said
That was what my instructor said too, same goes for when i discussed it with a copper years ago.

Don't you mean nohelpdesk
Whenever i asked them something very specific they didn't have written down on their cheatsheet/script, such as the rider weight used when they calculate the power:weight ratio, they did send it up the chain to their managers, (whom had a little application that they plugged the bike hp & weight into and it would give a yes/no answer on LAMS ok or not. But it didn't disclose this specific tidbit of info,) so they had to look into it and got back to me, an hour or so later. At least the girl kept her word and got back to me, then again i think i got her and her manager curious about it, so they were looking for both their own curiosity, as well as my own.
