It's far worse than that.

You guys in Victoria are safe, as the proposed laws that have originated in SA, are actually a breach of the Human Rights Charter in Victoria. Down there, freedom of association is enshrined as a basic right, and a basic principle, of a civilised society.

Besides, the biggest threat to society is internet forums - just ask Ken Wootton !!!

there is one good point on the flyer. The cops already have all the laws they need to "get the job done". and what the association laws provide is a guilty 'til proven innocent attitude, (note most cops will not take this view but a few will).
And the if you do nothing wrong you have nothing to worry about mentality, is just bullshit, that is why we need people like defence lawyers, sometimes the wrong person gets the blame.

Some of you are gettin it, most are not. There are already laws in place to deal with guns and drugs and whatever else you reckon bike clubs get up to. These laws to do not target illegal activity, they target groups. Any group, there is nothing in the legislation that limits it to 1% Clubs. Kawasaki Sportsbike Riders Club is a group. Therefore if a couple of you get up to no good on the roads of a weekend you could all rightfully be declared members of this group and the group could be Outlawed. This applies to all groups, named or nameless. Think about this guys and support the relevant political factions in your state before it's too late.

some good could come out of this, imagine all the pollies we could lock up, they rub shoulders with some pretty shady caracters

I agree. But the FREE Australia Party and your states UMC are working to have these laws thrown out. Supporting their fight is supporting our rights and our lifestyle as motorcyclists and Australians.
