Normally I don't take any notice of them but one today was interesting..

For Brisbanites, I was behind him on Sugarmill rd, we turned right onto Kingsford Smith Drive, I noticed his chin strap was extremely loose, like only the very tip was done up. At the lights I stopped and mentioned to the rider (about 30yr old asian man) that he really should do it up.. he just shrugged..

So he then rode all the way down Kingsford smith drive, down the bypass, hale st, and most of the way down Milton Road. And this was peak hour..

I'm thinking this guy isn't going to live long..

The Thai's appear to be able to carry two adults and up to 3 children on a scooter, all wearing full Thai safety gear....thongs, long cotton pants, long cotton top, no helmet and mum with a skirt on! Sometimes they even carry an item or two at the same time. THey seem to get on alright???

There are really only two questions in life. 1.Which way do i go? 2.What is the lap record?

I was talking to a guy from Jakarta recently and he said at peak times (4 to 5.30pm) there are more than 9 million scooters on the road at one time across indonesia

Maybe if one or two fall off then nobody really notices?

If a squid falls down on the road and no-one sees them, do they make a noise?
King Nicholas. Keeping it unreal.
