Another thing to consider.........
How much will you have to discount the bike when you sell it (you will one day) because it doesn't have a Red Key...........

Re: another key question
Ever consider trying to contact QLD transport (verbally and then in a written/registered post letter if given a verbal ok) and asking them to contact the original/last owner and asking them if it is ok for them to either pass your details to them, or to pass his details onto you.
It's worth a shot, and you aren't trying to do anything that doesn't require the individuals consent.

Re: another key question
ZRX's don't have a red key so no issue with getting copies. I still have the red key and a spare black one with all of the books for the Z1000. The insurance don't even ask for them. The idiots didn't contact me about buying it back even though I told them I would be interested in it so, I have no idea when it was sold and where it ended up.Wattie wrote:insurance writeoffs Hoff, did your ZRX go to auction will all keys and books etc?hoffy wrote:rant....
why the hell dont keep their red key in a safe place and pass it on with the bike when they sell it..it's worth nothing to them anyway once they have sold the bike..
end rant....
